Our Estates

160 hectares in Provence : 100,000 olive trees planted!

We've just acquired a new 160-hectare estate in Provence: Mas des Becasses. This choice was based on the exceptional quality of the land that makes up the estate, making it one of the largest olive groves in France, with over 100,000 olive trees planted in a single block by 2023. If all goes well, from 2026 onwards, this estate will enable Alziari to produce 100% of the oils it currently offers in-house and in France. In fact, the specific varieties grown in the European terroirs that we currently use to create our grands crus have all been planted in different plots on the estate, according to the characteristics of each of them, in order to reproduce the same growing conditions and thus ensure the same organoleptic characteristics for these emblematic cuvées of the house.

Formerly a wine estate, Mas des Bécasses was previously owned by the famous Camargue horsewoman Marie Sara, who gave it a focus on breeding bulls and training horses.

Today, Maison Nicolas Alziari proudly announces that this estate is taking a new turn by being fully dedicated to the cultivation of olive trees. This beautiful setting will also be the ideal location for organising prestigious events such as weddings, advertising campaigns, etc., but our customers also have the possibility of renting the luxury villas that make up this exceptional estate.
